Hello, I'm Dilasha Jain

I believe in embracing curiosity, being authentic, and learning from the world around me. Whether I’m exploring new places, engaging in meaningful conversations, or simply observing the details in everyday life, I’m always looking for ways to grow and find inspiration.
Kathak, as a dance form for storytelling, has really opened my eyes to how much I love the process of learning and expressing. It’s not about reaching a specific goal, but about staying curious, being present, and letting the journey unfold. It’s more about listening to the rhythm of the moment than chasing a destination.
Sketching is something I picked up through books, and it’s become so close to my heart that I practically carry a sketchbook everywhere. It helps me see the finer details I often miss when everything around me is just a blur. When I sketch, it’s like I get lost in the lines and shapes, and for a moment, the entire world fades away, just me and the sketch, completely absorbed in the moment.
In the last few years, I’ve found myself enjoying reading more than ever before. There’s no specific genre I stick to (though I stay clear of horror), and I usually go by recommendations from friends and professionals. Here are a few books I’ve read recently.
