PROBLEM STATEMENT

Critical information essential for the daily activities of data analysts, scientists, and engineers was scattered across various platforms or remained undocumented, existing only in the minds of individuals.

Our task was to identify and consolidate the key information that supports these employees, enabling them to focus on what truly matters.

The challenge involved reaching out to various stakeholders, each holding valuable information on topics such as data management, governance, blogs, recent events, and the Data Symposium, and bringing it all together in a unified platform.

SOLUTION

Build a website from the ground up with a renewed information architecture that aligns with Cisco’s guidelines, providing a user-friendly layout for easy access to key information on data management, governance, and learning resources.

Additionally, establish a communication channel for leaders and individual contributors to share and present relevant content, ensuring the site remains updated and aligned with the needs of Cisco’s data and analytics community.

Home Page

Centralized Information Hub: Aggregates all key resources such as Data Science Resources, Services, Learnings, Blogs, and Events for easy access.

Top-Level Navigation: The top navigation bar offers direct links to various resources across different platforms, providing quick context and streamlined access.

Data Symposium

Assisted employees across Cisco in registering for Data Symposium sessions.

Managed the development and updates of the website in three phases:

Introduction Phase: Provided an overview of the Data Symposium.

Pre-Event Phase: Enabled event registration for attendees.

Post-Event Phase: Offered access to session recordings for participants.

Learnings Page

Provides users with a quick overview of various learning programs.

Offers easy access to detailed subsets of each program.

Simplifies navigation to find relevant learning opportunities.

Enhances user experience by organizing information clearly.
